The community recognized him as 2020 Athena Citizen of the Year.

Stahl Team V.I.P.
April Vorhauer-Flatt, Past Stahl Committee Member / Painter / Everything Volunteer
Before moving from Athena, April was a founding member of the Stahl Steering Committee and was a critical teammate through the purchase and following 5+ years of cleanup of the building, including the basement. April was masterful in her grant writing skills and expertly managed the intensive grant reporting for our OMS Revitalization Grant ($171,000), keeping us in-line and on-track. April served as President of the Athena Mainstreet Association, and previously served as Athena Chamber of Commerce Secretary. She was awarded Athena Citizen of the Year in 2021. April is a Whitman College graduate with a BA in Sociology and currently an Adult Foster Care-Developmental Disabilities Provider. She will forever be part of the Historic Stahl Building.
